Yamaha Drum Shortage??

Thanks anyways my friend actually talked me out of yamaha. He said that any real serious profesional drummer should know enough to exclusivley play Pearl. So thats what I'm probanly gonna grab, and possibly I may even go for a double kick set up.

Sure there are some killer players using Pearl, but I can't help but think "amateur" when I hear the name... maybe because everyone and their dog starts out on a pearl export, I dunno.

Look at all the greats who have played Yamaha... COLAIUTA, GADD, WECKL, the list goes on and on.

My personal choice: Gretsch and DW.
